Returns and Refunds Policy 

At Moleskine, we are committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law. This means that our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement, refund or repair if a product is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.  

In addition to your statutory rights, we also offer a 30 day change of mind returns policy for eligible products. 

Faulty/Damaged Products  

If the product has a major failure, you are entitled to: 

  • a refund; or 

  • a replacement of the same type of product (if available). 

You may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by the failure. 

Examples of a major failure include if a product: 

  • has a serious problem that would have stopped you buying it if you had known; 

  • is unsafe; 

  • is significantly different from the sample or description; 

  • does not do what we said it would do, or what you asked it to do, and cannot be fixed easily. 

In the case of a major failure, you are entitled to ask for a refund or replacement of the same type of product. You must return the products in a packed and secured manner and provide proof of purchase. 

For minor issues, we will offer a repair or replacement within a reasonable time. If this is not done, you may choose a refund. 

Any refund will be for the full amount paid for the products including any postage costs. 

If your product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will provide you with a reply-paid label so that you will not have to pay return postage. 

Change of Mind 

You can return or exchange any full priced products you purchase from Moleskine.com.au within 30 days from purchase if you change your mind. 

For change of mind returns or exchanges, the product needs to be: 

  • unused and in original, saleable condition; 

  •  in original packaging with all swing tags and labels attached; and 

  • accompanied by proof of purchase. 

Moleskine do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind on the following products (unless they are faulty or do not meet consumer guarantees): 

  • Marked down Products/Final Clearance products; 

  • eGift Cards; 

  • Customised or personalised products; and 

  • Bulk Orders *. 

*A Bulk Order includes any order made by a customer who has ordered 10 or more units of the same product. 

Original postage costs will not be refunded for change of mind returns and exchange. For change of mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.  

Contact and Return Process 

To return a product for online purchases: 

  • Contact our Customer Service team at hello@moleskine.com.au or via our contact form on the Moleskine website. 

  • Include your order details and photos (if the item is faulty or damaged). 

  • Wait for return approval and instructions from Moleskine before sending the product back. 

 

Product Warranty Issues 

Product warranties vary between brands from one (1) to four (4) years. Please contact us hello@moleskine.com.au with photos of the product and we  will assist with your warranty queries. 

Processing of returns  

For online purchases with the products returned by the customer by post to Moleskine, a customer should allow 10 business days from the day that the customer’s parcel is received at Moleskine returns address for the return to be processed. The customer will receive an email once the return has been finalised.  

For online purchases, any refunds to the customer’s credit card will usually take 3 to 5 business days to appear on the customer’s bank statement. For any product exchanges, place a new order on the Moleskine website for the product that you have in mind. This helps ensure that you get what you are after as quickly as possible, rather than waiting for it to reach Moleskine and potentially selling out in the meantime. Moleskine will then finalise the exchange for you upon receipt of the returned product.
